This may have been brought up before, but does anyone know - or at least have a clue as to when the first Expansion will be released?

I have read "approximately every six months." I will be amazed if they can crank out games like that though, even if they are only expansions.

- The second "chapter" of Guild Wars is already underway, with a very loose estimated release of the first half of 2006. According to Jeff Strain, it's very likely that players will be offered a preview of chapter prior to its release.

- On the competitive front there's some serious developments. Within the next two- three weeks there should be a full release of details on an upcoming global tournament that is scheduled to kick off during the Summer. From the sound of it, plans are for the tournament to run through to some point in Fall, but full details are forthcoming.
